This information is not always obvious to those who have little interest in food and yet. Before you think about decreasing fat in your diet, first ask yourself how many sodas/syrups/fruit juices you drink, how much white bread and other forms of quick sugars hidden in cereals you consume, not to mention desserts, chocolate bars, or sucrose in coffee. The Mediterranean diet is fatty, especially in unsaturated fatty acids (Omega 3, fatty fish) and yet it is one of the diets that keeps us healthy. Some fats are better than others, as always avoid processed products, which usually contain a lot of them, prefer liquid vegetable fats at room temperature (olive oil, sunflower, flax, nuts…).
